Education

Qualifications

✓Has a thorough understanding of cardiac monitor procedures, hemodynamic techniques, and equipment.
✓Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anesthesia procedures that are performed by the licensed anesthesia providers, aseptic techniques, anatomy, anesthesia equipment, and regulatory practices.
✓Ability to utilize manufacturer’s instructions for use (IFUs) for equipment calibration, operation, troubleshooting and cleaning.
✓Demonstrates the ability to perform technical duties in complex, clinical urgent/emergent situations.
✓Ability to perform work functions in an operating or procedural room providing patient care demonstrating proficiency in biologic hazards, infection control, and standard precautions.
✓Ability to prioritize and multi-task; demonstrates task prioritization based on acuteness of patient care needs.
