Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards. 2. Transports various items to and from various locations and vendors. 3. Chauffeurs patients and employees between several locations. 4.
Maintains storage requirements for biological specimens and other item handled during transport. 5. Provides and/or arranges for appropriate maintenance of department vehicles and keeps them clean. 6. Prepare and maintains accurate transportation logs, vehicle fuel consumption logs, and other data as required. 7.
Ability to maintain clear and accurate records, logs and reports. Ability to effectively respond to emergencies in and around vehicle. Ability to work varied hours dependent on the needs of the patient or hospital.
