St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring an Activities Clerical CNA for our Skilled Nursing unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. Shift/Hours: 9AM-5PM, 24 hours per week.
No weekend or holiday requirements.

The Activities/Clerical/CNA provides for the ongoing program of activities, designed to meet the individual needs of the resident, including interests, physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. This position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the clerical functions and duties of a designated unit/program.
Utilizes Customer Service skills when greeting patient/visitors and answering telephone. Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses: High school or GED graduate. Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Completion of applicable state courses.
Successful completion applicable state exam required for certification. Not listed on applicable State Abuse Registry. Must have CPR for the professional rescuer Specialized Knowledge: Awareness, knowledge and interest in gerontology.
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate multiple programs over time. Knowledge of LTC regulatory standards governing activity programs. Kind and Length of
