About the role
To contribute to the design and implementation of the Therapeutic Leisure Activity Program which provides offerings to meet the social, physical, and psychosocial needs of the various populations on the campus. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Activities, UHS Senior Living at Ideal Primary Work
Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Compensation Range: $15.61 - $23.45 per hour, depending on experience ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: One-year experience Work Environment Moves intermittently throughout the day; 70% of time indoors, 30% outdoors. Sits 10% of day, walks short distances 50%, stands 30%. Occasionally twists, stoops, squats, bends, climbs stairs, and reaches above, at, or below shoulder height.
Occasionally lifts and transfers residents weighing on an average of 150 pounds with or without assistance. Frequently pushes wheelchair residents up to 250 pounds, 350 feet. Communicates orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, and public.
