You will join a team of 29 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in critical care, colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties. . Responsibilities include: Coverage of in-house Level 1 Trauma and Emergency General Surgery at Evanston Hospital; Coverage of Level 2 Trauma Call and Emergency General Surgery at Skokie, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals; Four to six hours per month of general surgery post op clinic; Coverage of critical care in the Surgical ICU at Evanston and Skokie Hospitals Oversees Residency and Fellowship Programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
