✓High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved Nurse Aide training course required.
Qualifications
✓If no experience as a Nurse Aide then successful completion of Acute Care Technician course at FGH during clinical orientation required.
✓Within 30 Days of Employment
✓Mental Demands: Ability to perform as a team member, cooperates with others, follows directions precisely, demonstrate initiative, and function under stress.
Prior experience working as a Nurse Aide preferred.

About the role

JOB SUMMARY : The Acute Care Technician performs under the direct supervision of the RN and is delegated tasks by the RN or Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to achieve quality patient care. He/she is involved in the implementation phase of the nursing process and is responsible to the RN and Patient Care Coordinator on the unit for patient care and ultimately accountable to the Patient Care Manager (PCM).
