Responsibilities Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)- OTP Clinic Foundations Health fosters a culture of healing and community to aid in recovery from opioid use, substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. Access to assessments and recommendations will help facilitate client-centered linkage to community services. The LCAS will focus on inmates who are in detox protocol but who are not participating in the Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. The role of the LCAS is to provide comprehensive clinical assessments with inmates in the detox protocol.
Conduct comprehensive addiction assessments and clinical evaluations for individuals in the criminal justice system. Provide individual, group, and family counseling focused on addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and behavioral health. Collaborate with reentry coordinators, case managers, probation officers, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care Facilitate referrals to community resources including detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient services, employment, housing, and social supports Document clinical progress and maintain compliance with program and regulatory guidelines Other duties as assigned.
