Qualifications
✓of two (2) years lead experience in a clinical setting, including organizing
✓workflow to accomplish established objectives, training staff, and evaluating
✓staff effectiveness.
✓to work effectively with patients, physicians and staff in a diplomatic and
✓professional manner in order to maximize suite operations.
✓in prioritizing assignments and managing multiple tasks.
✓to work effectively as a member of a team in order to provide effective patient
✓care.
✓knowledge of Epic CareConnect systems to complete on-line transactions
✓including appointment scheduling, procedure scheduling, the encounter
✓registration system, hospital lab results and medical reports.
✓Building Skills to include prior supervisory experience.
✓in monitoring complex clinician appointment schedules.
✓to elicit salient clinical information such as presenting complaints from
✓patients and referring professionals, and make appropriate assignments based on
✓established guidelines.
✓in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients and
✓visitors with health concerns using tact and discretion.
✓in speaking clearly and distinctly in person and over the telephone, using
✓appropriate grammar and vocabulary in order to share information, effectively
with surgery scheduling systems, preferably with UCLA systems / CareConnect. preferred

About the role

This position will be responsible for direct oversight of administrative support staff in assigned areas, training, evaluating, motivating administrative staff to maintain teamwork, a positive culture, and will monitor staff performance. They will supervise patient scheduling, provider scheduling, and workflows that include insurance verification and authorizations.
