Responsibilities Cedar Hills Hospital is a behavioral health hospital and includes Branches Outpatient Services. We are seeking to hire an Admissions Coordinator to fill a full time role with Branches Outpatient Sercvices. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring admission inquiry calls.
This position goes on site to our inpatient hospital daily, working with patients care teams to ensure a smooth transition for step downs. Responsibilities also include transportation coordination, up to date communication of admissions status with identified parties and data entry into the designated computer systems. it also assists with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and collecting insurance information.
This position works closely with the Director of Branches Services to ensure all compliance. The position also coordinates with providers and clinical staff, both internally and in the community, processes referrals, and provides updates to community providers on mutual patients. Minimum

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Services or related field. QMHA preferred. Two (2) years’ experience in a Mental Health related field.
Data collection and report writing skills requied Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. May be asked to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. AHA BLS CPR required within 30 days of hire.
Handle with Care descalation training required within 30days of hire.
