Under the supervision of the Adult Day Program Coordinator, the Adult Day Program Aide is responsible for assisting the clients in the facility setting with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living according to the plan of care, observing clients, reporting and recording these observations and documenting services provided. Essential Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and preferably a high school graduate.

One year of facility or home care aide experience is preferred. Proof of current Certified Nurse Aide Certificate in the Commonwealth of PA or willingness to complete training and demonstrate the competency requirements for this position.

Must be reliable. Must demonstrate tact, patience and good personal hygiene. Must have good observations skills.

Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and able to document services provided in both written and oral reports. Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
