​Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a BC/BE adult psychiatrist to join a well-established outpatient practice within Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City. This hybrid position offers a mix of in-clinic and remote workdays. About the positionThe physician will conduct evaluations for psychiatric conditions, substance and alcohol use disorders, social concerns, and related medical issues in both tele-psychiatry and outpatient settings, with a focus on outpatient adult psychiatry careUtilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including psychotropic medications and individual therapyOutpatient responsibilities include initial and follow-up mental health evaluations, medication management, and care delivered through a team-based model, with 36 hours of direct patient contact per weekStrong referral base, with an average of 14 scheduled visits per dayWork alongside a team of five physicians with strong support staffCollaborate closely with licensed therapists, psychologists, and neuropsychologists1:7 weekend call rotation providing consult services at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas CityExtremely competitive career employment package that includes a guaranteed salary in addition to excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, malpractice insurance, tax-deferred retirement plan with employer match, paid time off and a generous yearly allowance for CME
