Licensure
✓New York State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology within 1 year of hire
Certifications
✓Certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association within 1 year of hire
✓Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
Education
✓Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Qualifications
Voice experience highly preferred
Experience treating adults with traumatic brain injury and a variety of neurological diagnoses preferred
Experience working with patients with head and neck cancer, including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, radiation-related complications, and laryngeal communication. preferred
Experience evaluating and treating adult communication and swallowing disorders preferred
Experience in dysphagia evaluation/treatment across the lifespan preferred
Experience changing and managing TEPs, including prosthesis changes and troubleshooting preferred
Competency and experience in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and/or FEES preferred
Experience working with an interdisciplinary team, including ENT, Neurology, Oncology preferred
