RWJBH is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for the Neurosurgery department at the New Brunswick campus

This role includes rounding, evaluation, and providing care plans as developed with attending neurosurgeons There are also invasive bedside procedures as a part of this role You must be comfortable working to the full extent of licensure This is a variable role with days, nights, weekends and holiday rotations required,

Advanced Practice Nurses must be certified in Family practice due to the pediatric population seen on this service Physician Assistants must be a graduate from an accredited PA program

An ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of inpatient or acute patient care experience in neurosurgery with a desire for acute inpatient work Would consider the right new graduate APP NP candidates must be FNP certified with acute care experience due to the pediatric population on the service Licenses and Certifications Current NJ APN PA license required NCCPA certification required CDS required DEA required RN required RNFA certification required for NP to work in the operating room BLS required ACLS required Stroke education hours
