The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Overview: RWJBH is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider for the Cardiac Surgery department at the New Brunswick campus This role will be expected to rotate between floor/ICU with possible training and rotation to cardiac surgery operating room for the right candidate Role includes rotational nights, weekends, and holidays

Candidates should possess effective time management and critical care skills Must be able to adapt and adjust to a large volume of acute patient population Skills with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement are preferred Must also be accustomed to working as an autonomous provider, for example making treatment decisions and moving patient care forward Experience with POCUS is also preferred The expectation is for the candidate to work to a full extent of licensure

Graduate from NP program with certification in Acute Care, or Adult with previous critical care experience NP can only be considered for the OR if they have their RNFA certification Physician Assistants need to have graduated from an accredited PA program

2-3 years of critical care experience minimum Licenses and Certifications Current NJ APN/PA license required NCCPA certification required CDS required DEA required RN required RNFA certification optional BLS required ACLS required
