✓Current license as a physician assistant in the State of Rhode Island is required.

✓Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Education
✓Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice program
✓Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree and a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
✓Knowledge of basic emergency department, internal medicine, generalist, occupational medicine, and family practice procedures required.
✓Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
✓Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously deal with patients and families, clients, coworkers, clinical staff and physicians.
✓Progressive thinking for budget, training and quality issues.
✓Strong leadership qualities.
✓One year of related experience required, two years preferred. Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred, some medic or primary care acceptable. Must have experience caring for children ages 18 months and above.
