Licensure
✓The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will have a current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Certifications
✓S/He should also have a current certification for prescriptive authority in the state of Arkansas.
✓Must be CPR certified.
Qualifications
✓Ability to practice nursing as described by the following definition: " The diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health alterations.” Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering prescribed treatments
✓Safety Sensitive: YES
✓In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as “safety sensitive.” A “safety sensitive” position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self
✓Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a “safety sensitive” position.
Individualized orientation period of no less than 2 weeks and generally no greater than 3 months. Candidates with experience in interventional radiology, critical care, or OR training is preferred.
