Seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider for the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care unit at UH Cleveland Medical Center. The APP will manage post cardiac surgery patients both planned and emergent, durable and non-durable mechanical circulatory support, and lung and heart transplant patients with opportunity for procedural experience. The schedule is rotating days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Nurse Practitioners must be acute care. Cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Experience Qualifications 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred) 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills.
(Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
