Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries. Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
