Sentara Medical Group has positions available for an Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join the Hospital Medicine team at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA and other locations throughout the state of Virginia. Highlights Include: ICU Model: Open ICU with in-person Critical Care coverage from 7a-7p and eICU support overnight (7p-7a), Vent management is provided by the critical care team.
7 shifts per 14-day period using blocked schedule model, Fulltime and flex opportunities Admissions: Primary focus on rounding patients; limited admissions until the arrival of the admitting APP at 9pm Admission distribution is shared evenly among the team, with an average of approximately two admissions per provider by 11am No procedural or ICU responsibilities Care primarily involves observation patients and selected low-acuity medical patients Supervising physician at all times Commencement Bonus available for those that qualify (Fulltime and Part-time) Shift differential included

The base pay range for full-time employment is $107,785.60 - $312,000.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
