Licensure
✓Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
✓Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
Certifications
✓APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification if doing Inpatient work.
✓Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
✓Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Education
✓Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program

About the role

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Neonatology Advanced Practice Provider to join its Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology.

What you’ll do
Provide delivery room attendanceProvide delivery room attendance and management, direct patient care, procedures, and neonatal transport
The schedule includes 10-hourThe schedule includes 10-hour day shifts, 16-hour overnight (4pm – 8am), and optional 24-hour shifts (24-hour shifts are not required) on a rotating schedule- handled through self-scheduling guidelines
Role will report toRole will report to the two NICU Co-Lead APPs
Experienced NICU APPs mayExperienced NICU APPs may qualify for an up to $20,000 signing bonus!
