Job Overview: The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider who provides health care to neonates, infants and children up to one year of age.
The APP provides care for critically ill premature and full-term infants with emphasis place on family centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the APP has daily responsibility for the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity. The Advanced Practice Provider practices in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and or subspecialty healthcare to their patients.

Full Time 40 hrs (8hr-12hr shifts: day/night/weekends/holidays)
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Perform procedures as necessary. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health education.
Stay current with medical best practices, guidelines, and regulations. Engage in continuing education and professional development activities. Participate in research or quality improvement projects as directed or needed.
