Licensure
✓Current and/or eligibility for State of Illinois RN and APN licensure/registration
✓Must have or be able to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers
Certifications
✓Initiate CPR and perform therapeutic techniques to stabilize a compromised infant in the delivery room, NICU, and emergency room, and refer hospitals as needed.
✓Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or AANP
✓NCC certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Job Type/FTE: Registry, 0.1FTE preferred
Education
✓Master's Degree of Science in Nursing
Qualifications
✓Completion of approved NNP Training
2 years of clinical experience in a related specialty area preferred
Proficiency in resuscitation, intubation, and line placement preferred
Proficiency in EPIC preferred
Proficiency in the use of computers preferred
Excellent clinical, management, and organizational skills. preferred
Ability to conduct physical examinations and health assessments preferred
Being detail oriented preferred
Be able to work effectively under pressure preferred
Be able to use independent judgment preferred
Strong communication skills preferred
Demonstrated ability to facilitate communication among various levels of practitioners preferred
Ability to interview and obtain medical information preferred
