✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
✓AND Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License issued by West Virginia Board of Nursing.
✓Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the WV Board of Medicine or WV Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
Certifications
✓National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
✓American Heart Association BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department.
✓Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants required.

Education
✓Graduate from a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
✓Bachelor’s Degree as a Medical/Surgical (as applicable) Physician Assistant required.

Master’s Degree as Physician Assistant preferred.
Qualifications
✓Eligible new graduates will be considered.
✓Proficiency with computers.
✓Strong communication skills.
Acute care or critical care experience preferred.
