You’ll need
Licensure
✓Graduation from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program as required by licensure.
✓Active Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
Certifications
✓Credentialed by the Boulder Community Hospital Medical Staff Office.
✓BLS and ACLS certification required within 3 months of start date.
✓PALS and ATLS certification required within 6 months of start date
Qualifications
✓One year of trauma, surgical critical care, or general surgery experience is required, with 3 or more years preferred
✓Prior surgical experience required

About the role
The APP will play an integral role in the evaluation and management of patients in both the clinic and hospital settings, including pre-operative assessments, post-operative follow-up, inpatient rounding, admissions, discharges, consultations, and patient education. The APP will work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care.
