About the role

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Transplant Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP).

What you’ll do
Five-day, eight-hour work schedule from 800am – 5:00pm
Deliver safe and timelyDeliver safe and timely care to our liver transplant recipients who require close medical management in the pre- and post-transplant phases of care
Provide comprehensive care forProvide comprehensive care for patients with chronic liver disease, including those undergoing liver transplant evaluation and those who are actively listed for transplantation
Perform assessments, formulate diagnosesPerform assessments, formulate diagnoses, and initiate and manage treatment plans
Collaborate with hepatologists, transplantCollaborate with hepatologists, transplant surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize medical management of pre-transplant patients
