Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Behavioral Health function within a graduate medical education setting. Participates in the implementation and maintenance of programs supporting the goals and objectives of the family medicine residency program with regards to Behavioral Health. Job Responsibility Hourly rate: $54.051 - $93.846 Supports Leadership in the development and implementation of Behavioral Health programs, policies and procedures.
Performs program assessment, identifies related best practices, reports on findings and makes recommendations to improve performance. Serves as a clinical resource to team in evaluating diagnostic criteria, developing treatment plans, and discharge planning. Coordinates training for program staff to foster optimal therapeutic interaction with patients Ensures Behavioral Health programs are in compliance with government regulations, accreditation requirements, and system standards.
Serves as a clinical project/technical lead on related projects. Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
