You’ll need
Certifications
✓Registered Technologist (R.T.) - (Registered) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months post graduation from Radiology program - Required within 180 Days
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Upon Hire
✓Inputting data, calibrating equipment, answering telephone, speaking clearly, manipulating small items, fine motor skills, knowledge of body mechanics and CPR.
Education
✓H.S. Diploma - Required
Qualifications
✓Currently attending a radiology program. - Required
✓Essential Technical/Motor Skills
✓Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
✓Interpersonal Skills
✓Effective communication skills and ability to interact with patients, staff, visitors, physicians, etc.
✓Must work well as a team member.
✓Visual skills to read equipment settings, hear audio signals, reading computer screens.
✓Blood, body fluids, needle sticks, radiation and hazardous materials.
✓Caregiver must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in all age groups.
