Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Analytics Developer to translate complex healthcare business needs into trusted analytics solutions and reusable data products that improve decision-making, reduce manual effort, strengthen data trust, and deliver measurable business value.
As a Developer 2, you will own analytics initiatives with growing autonomy, evaluate solution options, and support delivery from problem definition through outcome assessment. You will collaborate with business and technical partners, support junior team members, and apply relevant NLQ, agentic analytics, and data science experience. Responsibilities Time Allocation Analytics Solution and Data Product Development | 50% : Own analytics solutions and reusable data products that address prioritized healthcare business problems.
Translate needs into requirements, evaluate options, develop and test solutions, and assess outcomes for decision-making, efficiency, quality, or user experience. Trusted Data, Governance, and Quality | 20%: Ensure solutions use trusted, well-defined, and protected data. Identify critical data elements, apply approved definitions, establish validation and monitoring controls, and coordinate remediation before release.
Measures Integration and Operational Delivery | 15%: Support end-to-end delivery of measures and partner data, including secure exchange, ingestion, reconciliation, validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination. Analytics Innovation, NLQ, and Automation | 10%: Apply NLQ, agentic analytics, data science, and automation to reduce manual effort, improve access to trusted information, and create new analytical experiences.
Evaluate reliability, usability, security, and business value. Technical Leadership and Development | 5%: Lead small initiatives, conduct peer reviews, document practices, share knowledge, mentor developing team members, and maintain relevant expertise. Primary Responsibilities Own analytics solutions and data products from business-problem definition through delivery, adoption, and outcome evaluation.
Translate healthcare needs into analytical requirements, solution options, and measurable success criteria. Design reusable analytical datasets, semantic models, calculations, and workflows that provide consistent, trusted results. Use SQL and Python to analyze data, develop solutions, automate work, and validate outcomes.
Apply NLQ, agentic analytics, and data science techniques to appropriate problems and evaluate value, reliability, and risk. Ensure critical data elements, metrics, and business definitions are documented, governed, and consistently applied. Build validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and prepublication controls; investigate issues and coordinate remediation.
Apply data classification, masking, and access controls to protect sensitive healthcare information. Support measures and partner-data workflows from secure exchange through validation, monitoring, and issue resolution. Lead small initiatives, communicate findings and limitations, review work, document practices, and support junior team members.

Candidates are not expected to bring every qualification. 3 to 5 years of experience developing analytics solutions, data products, or decision-support capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Healthcare-domain knowledge, including claims, EHR, quality measures, member data, or similar datasets. Ability to frame business problems, define analytical requirements, evaluate options, and connect results to business outcomes. Strong SQL skills with large, complex datasets; Snowflake experience is beneficial.
Proficiency in Python for analysis, validation, scripting, or automation. Experience developing analytical datasets, models, transformations, semantic models, or related data products. Practical experience with NLQ, agentic analytics, or data science solutions, including evaluating outputs for accuracy and usefulness.
Experience with data validation, monitoring, quality controls, and secure handling of sensitive healthcare information. Strong communication skills with business and technical collaborators. Ideal Candidate Demonstrates Master's degree in a related STEM, analytics, data, technology, or healthcare field.
Experience with Ataccama or another governance, metadata, or data-quality platform. Experience with critical data elements, governed definitions, or automated validation controls. Experience with data masking or role-based, row-level, or column-level security in a cloud data platform.
Experience with Data as a Product or a governed semantic-model operating approach. Experience creating or supporting NLQ solutions, AI agents, analytical copilots, reusable skills, or agentic workflows, preferably within a Snowflake environment. Knowledge of prompt engineering, grounding, AI evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
Experience with Power BI or a comparable visualization platform that may shorten ramp-up time and support cross-team transition needs. Experience with source control, automated testing, deployment practices, Agile, or Scrum. Understanding of payer-provider relationships and healthcare operations and outcomes.
