Anesthesia Technician (Overnight)

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM Join our team as an Anesthesia Technician and play a vital role in supporting anesthesia providers during surgical and special procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with line placements and specialized procedures, processing specimens, performing EKGs, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for patient care.

Role PurposeProvides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, such as assisting with special procedures, preparing equipment and supplies and providing medications for use by anesthesiologists. ResponsibilitiesPrepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests.

Sets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment. Completes and documents quality checks on various equipment. Assists with special procedures to include, but not limited to, line-placement, fiber optic intubation, hemodilutions, echocardiograms, EEGs and regional anesthesia.
