Assist physicians in the physiological monitoring of patients and the preparation of drugs, fluids, anesthetics and equipment ancillary to operative intervention of other procedures requiring anesthesia; set up, operate and maintain monitoring and anesthesia equipment. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

High School Graduate or equivalent PREFERRED
MINIMUM
Previous surgical attendant or nursing assistant in acute care or ambulatory surgery environment PREFERRED
Previous experience as an anesthesia technician REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSUR : PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Anesthesia Technician REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire #LI-JH5
