Anesthesia Technician - South

JOB SUMMARY Anesthesia technicians provide ancillary support to the anesthesia service under the supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider by maintaining and assembling adequate anesthesia supplies and equipment. They prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for the administration of general; regional or moderate anesthesia care. Due to the broad range of medical conditions they encounter; they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education High School Diploma Minimum Work Experience No previous experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications CPR-BLS

; Knowledge; and Abilities Ability to deal effectively with community/consumers. Ability to deal effectively with hospital personnel and duties of position. Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Ability to demonstrate excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.

Ability to handle confidential information. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
