You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active RN license in Ohio, required.
Certifications
✓Certification in apheresis nursing (e.g., Qualification in Apheresis) or willingness to obtain when eligible
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), preferred.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
Qualifications
✓Proficiency with apheresis equipment and technology
✓Strong venipuncture and central line management skills
✓Critical thinking and rapid decision-making in emergent situations.
✓Excellent patient assessment and monitoring abilities.
✓Effective communication and patient education skills.
✓Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
✓Team collaboration and interdisciplinary coordination.
✓Adaptability to changing patient condition, needs, or procedural requirements.
✓Knowledge of infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards. Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement processes.
Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (critical care, oncology, hematology, or dialysis preferred).
Experience with apheresis procedures, preferred.
