About the role

Provide direct patient care in the CVSICU/SICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of postoperative cardiovascular patients.

What you’ll do
Provide direct patient careProvide direct patient care in the CVSICU/SICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of postoperative cardiovascular patients
Perform invasive procedures, includingPerform invasive procedures, including but not limited to central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube removal and pacer wire removal
Collaborate with the interdisciplinaryCollaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the CVSICU
Conduct comprehensive patient assessmentsConduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and evaluate patient responses to interventions
Provide education and supportProvide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and discharge planning
