✓Current RN and APRN licensure with the Oregon Board of Nursing, current national certification in the area of specialization, current BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification as indicated for the position, DEA Certification OR current PA licensure with the Oregon Medical Board, current NCCPA Certification
Certifications
✓Successful completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing in a recognized APRN specialty (Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Nurse Practitioner) OR successful completion of a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies
Qualifications
✓3-5 years of clinical experience as an APP that demonstrates ability to fulfill responsibilities for the specific role
✓Demonstrated experience in cardiology
✓Ability to manage heavy workload and multiple priorities and inflexible deadlines
✓Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
✓Demonstrated ability to satisfy standards of performance delineated by law and associated practice standards
✓Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing and spreadsheet software
✓Regular and consistent attendance at work
✓Demonstrated experience in performance/system improvement
Quality improvement experience preferred
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and using EPIC EMR preferred
