Area Quality Specialist - RN

Find your purpose giving patient care teams the knowledge and tools they need to better care for patients as an Area Quality Specialist Registered Nurse! This is a rare opening on a well-established team. It’s open after more than a decade only because of retirement and gives you flexibility to work from home, plan your travel schedule, and travel regularly to all three west-coast states!

Airfare, mileage, per diem allowance and hotel stays are all included in this unique role. You won’t supervise anybody in this role, but you will lead!

95,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experienceRemote/Travel: Work from home a little more than half the time. The other 50% or so is site visits, spending 3-4 days at each location listed below. Analyze CMS, Press Ganey and AccentCare data to monitor trends and suggest ways to improve metricsServe as the primary Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement resource for the regionProvide expertise and preparation planning for triannual surveys to maintain our CHAP accreditationHelp plan for planned external surveysProvide remote consultation during unplanned state surveysPerform annual quality audits for each locationTo be considered, you’ll need to meet these
