Armed Security Officer Hancock Nights $1500 Sign On Bonus

✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
✓Completion of Certified Police Officer of Standard Training Policy Academy (state, federal, or military).
✓Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification or Military Police equivalent
✓Valid Louisiana driver’s license and clean DMV report
✓Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), and firearms training
✓International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of promotion/hire
✓Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of the FTO Program within the first 60 days of employment
✓Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Education
✓Required - High School diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
✓1 year Security, law enforcement, or military.
✓Previous experience or is presently, an armed police officer with a Louisiana or Federal Law.
✓Enforcement Agency (reserve status is acceptable) and has had arrest power and been assigned in an active law enforcement capacity.
✓Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
✓Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
✓Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
✓Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
✓This position is considered Team A Essential Personnel and must report for duty in the event of a disaster.
✓Must be able to work a flexible schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).

About the role

This job follows established procedures and under the supervision of the shift supervisor, provides security for patients, employees, as assigned and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Enforces company policies and procedures and performs assigned duties that ensure the security of patients, guests, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
