Website: coastalharbor.com The Art Therapist will work with patients with a range of physical abilities, mental illness diagnosis, & substance abuse issues. The Art Therapist will assist patients in expressing his/her emotions through artwork (painting, sketch, illustration and/or drawing). The Art Therapist will help patients analyze their artwork and develop solutions to any issues or problems they may be experiencing to aid in their personal recovery.
In addition, the Art Therapist will help patients learn coping skills so that they can effectively deal with stressful, challenging and/or traumatic experiences. Individualized documentation will be required for each patient seen immediately following the completion of each 1 hour session.
