Qualifications
✓1 year recent relevant experience
✓Experience in endoscopy services or demonstrated competency assisting with gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures in an acute care setting.
✓Knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy, procedures, endoscopic views, and endoscopic equipment.
✓Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
✓Ability to interpret instructions and information presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
✓Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced procedural environment.
✓Effective communication skills when interacting with physicians, nurses, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.
✓Working knowledge of electronic health records and standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
✓Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
✓Ability to evaluate and resolve routine problems using established policies, procedures, and available resources.
