About the role

Duties Description Buffalo Psychiatric Center is recruiting an Assistant Director Nursing 1 Psychiatric to function as the Assistant Director of the nursing department. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As an Assistant Director Nursing 1 Psychiatric, you will assist in the management, oversight, and evaluation of nursing and direct care services including:
Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
Overseeing, evaluating, and participating in recruitment, training, and continuing education programs for nursing and direct care staff
Supervising Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric and other nursing and direct care staff
Ensuring compliance with established standards of nursing care in accordance with State, federal, and accreditation agency requirements
