The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as an adjunct to the Nurse Manager or Nursing Director by providing supervision and clinical expertise to staff in his/her assigned area. Assists the Nurse Manager in hiring and firing of nursing personnel, conducting periodic employee evaluations, orientation of new employees, and performance improvement activities. Assists the Nurse Manager in devising and managing the departmental budget(s).
Facilitates positive customer service and patient-centered care on the nursing unit. 3p-11p shift and call required QualificationsRequired
Associate's Degree in NursingBSN required within 3 years of hire. Preferred
BSN Required Licensure/Certifications:BLSACLS from the American Heart Association is required within 6 months of hireNRP is required within 6 months of hireSTABLE within 6 months of hireRequired
3 years of RN Maternal/Newborn experience
