The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the unit and service line as needed and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all service line staff. Responsibilities Maintains Clinical Expertise Organizes Patient Care Activities Directs and Organizes Staff development Maintains Accountability to Administrative team Demonstrates Leadership Skills EDUCATION Minimum: Associate Degree Preferred: BSN EXPERIENCE 2-3 yrs RN experience in Medical/Surgical LICENSE REGISTERED NURSE CERTIFICATION BLS & ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) #LI-NM1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
