Assistant Nurse Manager of Maternal Child Care (80933)

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager within the Maternal Child Care (MCC) Service Line, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) leads daily operations in the maternal child, nursery, labor & delivery, and med surg overflow nursing areas; including staffing, patient flow, service recovery, staff accountability, communication, and frontline support. The ANM maintains a visible leadership presence, removes operational barriers, reinforces department expectations and organizational priorities, and partners with leadership and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.

This role supports progress toward key goals, including but not limited to patient experience, quality outcomes, productivity, employee engagement, throughput, and regulatory compliance Qualifications Education/Certification: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN license BLS upon hire. NCI certification within 90 days.

ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months

Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant acute care or critical care setting required. Previous charge nurse, preceptor, clinical coordinator, assistant nurse manager, or other demonstrated unit-based nursing leadership experience preferred
