Licensure
✓Candidate must possess RN licensure in the state of Iowa as required by accreditation regulations.
✓Current license or permit to practice their profession in the state of Iowa.
Education
✓The faculty member shall hold an academic faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Allen College consistent with his/her education, experience, and qualifications of the rank.
✓A master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in nursing or related field required.
Qualifications
✓Current clinical skills and demonstrated competency in practice.
✓Evidence of ability in teaching as indicated by others in the field or promising potential to teach.
✓Demonstrated ability to do scholarly work appropriate to the individual's field.
✓Evidence of involvement in professional activity and community service.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in program discipline or 2 years recent clinical experience in area of teaching. preferred
