The role resides within UnitedHealth Group's Medicare & Retirement (M&R) segment, you will be part of UnitedHealth Group's elite Medicare Advantage Part D Bid team committed to changing health care through outstanding service, valuable products, measurable savings and health care plans designed to fit members' lives, year after year. Prepare Medicare Advantage Part D bids submitted to CMS annually Build AI-powered solutions that solve complex business challenges or improve efficiency in our models Use enterprise-approved AI tools to automate tasks and drive continuous improvement Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for Medicare Advantage submissions Understand and interpret the key drivers of health care trends; projecting expected revenue and cost Conduct and evaluate studies on pricing, utilization and health care costs Perform mathematical analyses and modeling to provide management with statistical findings and conclusions Analyze forecasts and trends to help leaders make decisions You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required
5+ years of experience in analytics, demonstrating proactive critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities 3+ years of experience building and optimizing data processes and pipelines using Python, SQL, and AI tools Experience in the healthcare insurance industry with prior exposure to pharmacy claims data Advanced or higher level of proficiency in MS Excel Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in coding with Snowflake, SQL, or SAS Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Medicare or other health data or pricing experience Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake) ASA, FSA or other Actuarial experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment.
