✓Under the general supervision of the MGR PATIENT ACCESS/SCHEDULING, performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verify insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements
Qualifications
✓6 months of Customer service experience.
✓2 years of General office experience, which includes public interaction.
✓1 year of patient access experience.
✓2 years of General office experience with public interaction.
✓3 years of patient access experience.
General office experience. preferred
Patient Services Specialist preferred
Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience. preferred
Medical setting experience. preferred
Senior Patient Services Specialist preferred
Courses in keyboarding and office practices. preferred
Courses in medical terminology. preferred
