This role is challenging. You'll need to have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing prescriptions for other pharmacy support staff or for our members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members' health and well-being.

Verify member data and eligibility in computer system Using multiple applications / monitors for data entry tasks Reviewing documents received from providers and insurance plans to attach to member accounts and route appropriately Contacting provider's offices to confirm patient data and request additional information, if needed What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? High School Diploma/GED OR 2+ years of equivalent customer service experience 1+ years of experience in customer service and/or data entry Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work Monday - Friday 6am - 7pm CST with potential to work weekends, holidays, and overtime depending on business need (Subject to change due to business needs)

Previous healthcare / pharmacy work experience *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
