Associate Philanthropy Officer - Foundation at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Associate Development Officer under the direction of the Dir, Major Gifts or Sr. Philanthropy Director will work to assist in managing portfolios of major gift prospects, working to maximize their philanthropic commitments to the Foundation through effective cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies. Bachelor's Degree 2-5 years of development/fundraising and/or call scheduling/telemarketing experience. 1 year a successful background in a fundraising organization and/or call scheduling/telemarketing with a minimum of 1-3 years of development/fundraising and/or call scheduling/telemarketing experience; a thorough and demonstrated knowledge of the prospect identification, cultivation and solicitation protocols, with an emphasis on individual gifts at a level of $25,000 and more; knowledge of fundraising research and development officer prospect portfolio protocols; demonstrated experience working within time-intensive and results-oriented environments with large institutions, preferably a hospital, academic or nonprofit research organization.
3-6 years of development/fundraising and/or call scheduling/telemarketing experience. Experience in fundraising at a hospital, academic or nonprofit research organization and fundraising software.
