HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, is seeking an Associate Trauma Medical Director to lead a dynamic trauma and acute care surgery team alongside Trauma Medical Director in Jacksonville. Qualified Candidates: · Must be board certified in General Surgery with Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care. · · Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions · No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction Have current, unrestricted DEA registration Have previous Trauma Surgery experience Be committed to impactful performance improvement Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills Duties are organized around 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour back-up.
The acute care surgery team has six advanced practice professionals. General surgery residents rotate on the service. The program participates in TQIP and TQIP collaboratives.

The program participates in TQIP and TQIP collaboratives.
