• Shift Thomasville Medical Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our 48-bed Med
• Surg/Cardiac Tele unit. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Med
• Surg RN ready to grow into a leadership role while remaining connected to patient care and the nursing team.

Support daily staffing and scheduling Assist with performance evaluations and staff development Serve as charge nurse as needed Provide clinical support and mentorship to nurses Step into staffing and patient care when needed Partner with the Nurse Manager on unit operations Promote teamwork, quality, safety, and excellent patient care About the Unit: Our team cares for a diverse patient population, including medical, cardiac/telemetry, orthopedic, post-operative, and rehabilitation patients.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required 2+ years of recent Med-Surg experience, required Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills What We're Looking For

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.

Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications. Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
