✓As a traditional athletic trainer, the employee is responsible for providing comprehensive athletic health services under the advice and consent of a licensed team physician and may be asked to function in this role at an educational institution, professional team, and/or at athletic events in our
Certifications
✓(Education, Experience, Licensure and Certification)
✓Nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (required)
✓Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field from an accredited college/university (required)
Masters’ degree and/or athletic training residency (preferred)
Qualifications
✓As an athletic trainer in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, the employee works in conjunction with the physical therapist to assist with patient care and the daily operations of a physical therapy clinic.
✓As an athletic trainer in a physicians’ office, the employee facilitates effective clinical operations for advanced practice providers and/or physicians.
✓Required experience varies based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility
✓Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required)
